London Marathon

The Flora London Marathon is one of the world’s greatest races.  Run for VETAID and raise money to help some of the poorest communities in Africa.

If you have managed to secure your own place then we would love for you to run on behalf of VETAID.  If you haven’t been lucky enough, then we have a limited number of guaranteed Silver Bond places for those people who can go the extra mile with their fundraising!

How to Enter

The ballot entry system for 2009 is now closed.  If you have applied for a place through the online ballot you will be notified in the first week of October if your entry has been successful.  For further details please visit www.london-marathon.co.uk.

If you do not manage to secure a place through the ballot system, you can  apply to run as a VETAID Silver Bond Runner.  To qualify for a Silver Bond place you will have to pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship amount of £1,500.

If you have been successful in getting your own place and would like to join us and run for VETAID, we ask that you will raise as much money as possible but do not require you to meet any minimum sponsorship amount.

In return for pledging to raise money for VETAID we will support you with a personalised running vest and be on hand to offer as much support and advice as possible.  We will provide you with a fundraising pack full of tips and ideas to get you started, and also details on how to set up an online fundraising page through www.justgiving.com.
