VETAID takes seriously each individual’s right to personal privacy. We collect and use information through our website only in the ways disclosed in this statement. We hope the following statement will help you understand how VETAID collects, uses and safeguards the personal information you provide to us on our website.

Information collection
VETAID collects information throughout the website at several points. We collect the following general data that is not personally identifiable information: browser information; country/ geographical information; pages visited and files downloaded.

We collect information through registration forms and IIS logging files. The information which is entered through our Enquiry Form is sent to VETAID via email. We do not use cookies on our website.

Our online donation service is provided by Justgiving.com. Please refer to their Privacy Policy for information about how your personal data will be processed.

Use of this information
The information collected by VETAID will be used for informing people about our work, responding to enquiries, and soliciting support. Users who provide information will be given the option to receive information relating to the work of VETAID. Out of respect for the privacy of our users and in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 there is always an option not to receive these types of communications. We are also obliged to ensure that the data you have provided is only used for the purpose for which it was requested, and to ensure that the data is kept securely.

If our policy on information collection or information usage changes, we will advise you by posting it on our website.
